Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Who we are

DragonHosting ("we", "us") operates dragonhosting.cloud and provides game server hosting. For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact@dragonhosting.cloud.

2. What we collect

Account data: name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password itself, only a bcrypt hash of it).

Billing data: billing name, address, country, optional VAT ID. We do not store card numbers. Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal, and we only keep an opaque reference (like a Stripe customer ID) needed to process future charges.

Order and subscription data: which plan you bought, price, currency, status, and renewal dates, needed to run the service and required for accounting.

3. Why we process it

Account and billing data: necessary to perform our contract with you (provide the hosting service you're paying for).

Order records: kept to meet legal/tax accounting obligations, even if you later delete your account.

Marketing emails: only sent if you opt in; you can withdraw consent at any time from your account settings.

4. Who we share it with

Stripe and PayPal process your payments as independent data controllers for the payment details you give them directly. We never see or store your card number. We share the minimum billing information needed (name, amount, currency) to create a charge.

We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.

5. How long we keep it

Account and billing profile data is kept while your account is active, and deleted (or anonymized where legally required to keep records) if you delete your account from Account Settings.

Order/invoice records are retained after account deletion where required for tax and accounting purposes, but are no longer linked to your name or address once your account is deleted.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your profile and billing details, download a copy of your data, and delete your account at any time from Account Settings, no need to email us for these.

If you believe we haven't handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Cookies

We use only functional cookies: one to keep you signed in (session token) and one to remember your language preference. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we'll notify account holders by email before they take effect.
